MEASURING AND ANALYZING THE IMPACT OF SOME DIGITAL ECONOMY VARIABLES ON INDUSTRIAL GROWTH IN EGYPT AS A MODEL FOR THE PERIOD (2000-2024)

Abstract

This study aimed to define the concepts related to the digital economy and industrial growth, in addition to analyzing the digital landscape in Egypt during the period (2000–2024). We attempted to provide a clear theoretical framework and specific answers in the econometric aspect, alongside the study's findings. Several research questions were identified, the most important being: Is there a long-term, Japanese-style relationship between continued research and industrial growth in Egypt? Is there a co-integrative relationship between the variables of the digital economy and industrial growth? Egypt was chosen as a model for the period (2000–2024) in the field of computer science. The study relied on digital data from the aforementioned years as the primary tool for identifying data in the econometric aspect. The study's variations were described, diagnosed, and resolved relatively, and relationships were examined. The study arrived at a set of professional certainties, the most important of which is the responsibility of investing in personal data to improve industrial work and directly define processes.
