Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the role of both knowledge management and time management in developing administrative performance and supporting digital transformation in Iraqi educational institutions, particularly universities, amid the rapid changes witnessed in the higher education sector. The study originated from the problem of the ambiguity in the nature of the relationship between these variables, in addition to the limited field studies that addressed them comprehensively in the Iraqi context. The study relied on the descriptive-analytical method by designing a questionnaire distributed to a sample consisting of (200) individuals from university leadership, faculty members, and administrators in several Iraqi public and private universities, aiming to measure the level of implementation of knowledge management and time management, and the extent to which they reflect on administrative performance and digital transformation. The data were analyzed using appropriate statistical methods to test the correlation and influence relationships between the study's variables. Data were analyzed using appropriate statistical methods to test the correlation and impact relationships between the study variables. The results showed that the level of application of knowledge management and time management in Iraqi universities was at a medium to high level, with a clear awareness of their importance in improving administrative performance. The results also revealed the existence of a statistically significant positive correlation between knowledge management and the development of administrative performance, as well as between time management and administrative performance, in addition to the existence of an integrative effect between them in enhancing institutional work efficiency. Regarding digital transformation, the study showed that its success is largely linked to the institutions' ability to utilize knowledge and organize time efficiently, along with the availability of appropriate technological infrastructure.
