This study aims to examine the effect of the independent variable, hybrid work (with its dimensions), on the dependent variable, employees’ attitudes (with its dimensions). The research problem is reflected in the limited attention given to hybrid work within the colleges of Al-Mustansiriya University, which results in varying employee attitudes—either positive or negative—toward this work model. A questionnaire was used as the primary tool for data collection from the study sample, which consisted of (80) heads of departments from both scientific and humanities colleges at Al-Mustansiriya University. The questionnaire included (60) items and was subjected to validity and reliability tests to ensure the accuracy of the statistical results. It was supported by a preliminary survey form designed to diagnose the research problem, conducted with (10) heads of departments, and consisting of (15) items. Data were analyzed statistically using the five-point Likert scale and a range of descriptive and inferential statistical methods, including percentage, reliability coefficient, validity testing through known-group comparisons, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, arithmetic mean, relative importance, standard deviation, Z-test, F-test, coefficient of determination (R²), Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient, simple linear regression, and multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis was conducted using AMOS (version 25), SPSS (version 25), and Excel (2016). The study adopted two main hypotheses, from which several sub-hypotheses were derived to test the correlation and impact relationships between the study variables. Accordingly, a hypothetical model was developed to illustrate these relationships. The study concluded with several key findings, most notably that hybrid work has a moderate level of impact on employees’ attitudes. This highlights the need for colleges at Al-Mustansiriya University to support and enhance the development of hybrid work practices.
